CREATIVE CENTER FOR EDUCATION

Merging Eric Telchin’s passion for the arts, education and children, he served as a board members of the Creative Center for Education (2020-2024), and currently sits on CCE’s Education Advisory Committee. Located in West Palm Beach, the Center for Creative Education serves students, teachers, and families by transforming educational environments through the arts. the Center for Creative Education was created in 1994 as an educational nonprofit that would increase the number of arts offerings in Palm Beach County classrooms and afterschool programs.

Today, we deliver professional teaching of the arts to more than 7,000 students across Palm Beach County. We do not replace teachers in music, visual arts, dance, and theater. Our innovative solution is to help community artists restore creativity in classrooms by integrating the arts into core curricula. In addition to being one of the largest providers of extended learning opportunities in Palm Beach County, CCE also operates The Foundations School, a K-5 independent school that seeks to break the barriers of traditional learning through creativity and the arts.

In 2021, Eric’s book THE COLOR FACTORY served as CCE’s theme for their annual gala, and featured a performance of the book by CCE’s students.
