The area of Palm Beach is served by the Palm Beach County School District, which oversees a total of 236 schools. This comprises 109 preschools, 150 elementary schools, 90 middle schools, and 59 high schools. The school district serves a total of over 189,000 students across all schools. It is the 10th largest school district in the country, and the 5th largest in Florida. The school district has an average teacher-to-student ratio of 1:16, which allows teachers to closely supervise their students’ learning.
In a 2022 report, the Palm Beach County School District maintained its A rating, outperforming its neighbors. Only two school districts in all of Florida were A-rated, the other one being the Miami-Dade School District.
